entirely from public-domain CDC primary data (CDC Travelers' Health). A place is
malaria-endemic for deferral exactly where CDC recommends antimalarial
chemoprophylaxis (FDA guidance, 12/2022). Data is versioned (SCD2) with a change feed.
The map includes a city search (/-/locate?q=) that geocodes a place and
returns its residence and travel deferral verdicts.
